We borrowed a mini bus from a local group of adults with special needs and will repay them by doing a mini concert on 27/2//09. The Big Lottery fund had an event to showcase their donations to groups and we had been awarded £2,500.00 to buy a music library for the LSO and string community, this is available to all local string players the catalogue is available on this website,.

We had fun as due to congestion and a technical hitch we were late for the first session we were booked to play. We had an impromptu rehearsal viewing of the Halle Orchestra which was amazing to hear and watch and then had a warm up session in the Charles Halle room which was a perfect venue. We then gave a lunch time performance probably our best, we had a muted reception but feed back from organisers said, 'they really enjoyed it'!
